Job Summary
· System Operations & Support
o Provide day-to-day operational support for hotel management systems, especially OPERA PMS, POS, PABX, and other business applications.
o Troubleshoot, maintain, and escalate system-related issues across user departments (Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Reservations, etc.).
o Assist in user account administration, access rights management, and system security.
· Network Infrastructure
o Perform hands-on network support, including configuration and monitoring of VLAN, firewalls, switches, and access points.
o Support the stability and security of wired and wireless networks in guest and staff areas.
o Maintain structured cabling and IDF/MDF room hygiene.
· Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
o Participate in routine IT system checks and ensure IT assets are inventoried and well maintained.
o Log, document, and follow up on all reported issues using the internal helpdesk system.
o Assist in patch updates, system rollouts, backups, and antivirus control.
· Projects & Upgrades
o Support system enhancement projects, vendor coordination, and rollouts under the direction of the Director of IT.
· Guest & Staff Support
o Respond to guest tech-related queries (in-room internet) as part of service recovery and IT experience support.
o Deliver effective communication across all user departments.
Requirements
· Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field
· Experience: 1–3 years in IT support or hospitality systems environment preferred
· Hotel Systems: Familiarity with OPERA PMS, POS systems (e.g., Oracle, CSS, POS), PABX, Office 365
· Networking: Solid understanding of VLANs, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, structured cabling
· Technical: Hardware/software troubleshooting, basic server knowledge, printer/network device support
· Others: Fluent in English; strong documentation and user support skills. Chinese is an added advantage.
