We're looking for an experienced Director of Engineering to lead our Engineering Division and ensure operational excellence, facility reliability, and effective maintenance standards.

 

Job summary

 

The Director of Engineering (DOE), under the guidance and supervision of Director of Operations, is responsible for the general administration of the engineering department, including proper maintenance and repair of all buildings, fixtures, fittings, and equipment as well as technical improvements, preventive maintenance, and utilities consumption control in the hotel. DOE is also required to contribute ideas and suggestions to improve profitability of the hotel and to provide guidelines and assistance to the division.

 

Requirement

 

  • At least 8 years’ experience in any industrial concern and 4 years’ experience in similar position in an international class hotel.
  • Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Fluent written and spoken English and local language.
  • Articulate, customer oriented, a team builder, a self-starter, goals oriented with commitment to professional values; self-confidence, maturity and charisma is an advantage
