Description

Rapsodo is a global sports technology company with offices in Singapore, the United States, Türkiye, Japan, and Malaysia. We build data-driven, portable sports analytics products that help athletes understand and improve their performance.

From Major League Baseball pitchers to professional golfers, our products are used globally across all levels of sport. Delivering these products requires strong execution across hardware, software, and real-world environments.

We operate as a globally distributed team, enabled by ownership, clarity, and disciplined execution.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager who will operate across manufacturing, sourcing, and internal systems to ensure reliable product delivery and operational effectiveness.

This is a hands-on role with meaningful scope, designed to grow in responsibility as you build context and demonstrate impact across operations. You will work directly with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that products are built, delivered, and scaled effectively. When issues arise, you step in, connect the dots, and drive resolution.

You will be joining an environment that is scaling — where processes are still being built, improved, and redefined. This is an opportunity to shape how operations evolve through better systems, automation, and practical innovation. It requires comfort operating without a fixed Playbook and the ability to drive progress in the face of ambiguity and changing priorities.

You will partner closely with Engineering, Product, Procurement, Finance, and Quality to make decisions, manage trade-offs, and ensure execution continues to move forward, with a clear view of how operational decisions impact product delivery and real-world performance.

 What You Will Do

Product & Operational Execution

  • Drive end-to-end execution across manufacturing, product delivery, and operational workflows
  • Ensure alignment between engineering, supply chain, and production to support product readiness and scale
  • Improve hardware reliability through close collaboration with customer support, reducing Annualized Failure Rate (AFR)
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks that impact delivery, quality, or cost

 Manufacturing & Production

  • Own manufacturing outcomes across output, quality, and delivery performance
  • Partner closely with Engineering and NPI teams to transition products from development into stable production
  • Translate NPI outputs (design, specifications, process requirements) into scalable and repeatable manufacturing processes
  • Improve production processes and First Pass Yield (FPY) with contract manufacturers
  • Resolve production issues directly with contract manufacturers to maintain execution momentum
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination with 3PL partners for last-mile delivery
  • Balance speed, cost, and manufacturability in real-time decision making

Purchasing & Sourcing

  • Provide visibility into sourcing risks that impact production and delivery
  • Ensure supplier performance across quality, cost, and delivery
  • Support and influence component-level trade-offs (cost, availability, lifecycle, alternatives)
  • Align Engineering, Procurement, and Manufacturing priorities under constraints
  • Contribute to sourcing strategies during product development and ramp

 Systems & Cross-Functional Execution

  • Bridge engineering intent with real-world operational constraints
  • Identify system-level risks across product, supply chain, and execution early
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and cost outcomes through structured and practical decision-making

 Operational Discipline

  • Establish and improve processes that enable consistent, scalable execution
  • Track key operational metrics and act decisively based on insights
  • Take ownership of issues end-to-end — from identification to resolution

 What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, engineering, or related roles
  • Postgraduate qualification in Engineering is preferred
  • Strong experience working in production environments and with contract manufacturers
  • Demonstrated ability to operate hands-on and resolve real operational issues
  • Strong systems thinking — able to connect product, supply chain, and execution realities
  • Experience working with sourcing, procurement, or supply constraints
  • Ability to make decisions under uncertainty and move execution forward

You will own how products are built and delivered, not just observe it. You will influence sourcing and operational decisions that impact real outcomes, while working closely with engineering and leadership to shape how the company executes.
If you are looking for a role where your judgment and execution directly impact real products in the real world, we would like to speak with you.
