Kadena Golf Course Pro Shop Attendant & Starter

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused individual to serve as a Golf Course Pro Shop Attendant & Starter. This dual-role position requires managing daily pro shop operations while also ensuring the smooth flow of play on the golf course.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of golf-playing experience and a solid understanding of the game, rules, and etiquette. Strong sales skills, professionalism, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent service in a professional manner.

• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system for merchandise, tee times, and rentals.

• Sell golf equipment, apparel, and accessories while assisting customers with product selection.

• Maintain merchandise displays, restock shelves, and ensure the pro shop is organized.

• Serve as course starter: coordinate tee times, manage pace of play, and enforce course rules.

• Answer customer questions regarding course layout, policies, and promotions.

• Assist with tournament and event setup as required.

• Maintain accurate cash handling and daily sales reports.

• Support golf course operations as directed by management.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of golf-playing experience (knowledge of rules, etiquette, and course play required).

• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
