Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.

Job Description

The role will be expected to work closely with business teams in Singapore and Sydney. Your responsibilities may span the following areas:

  • Support controllership team in monthly closing, audit and tax related matters.
  • Support Financial Planning Analysis team in budget planning if any.
  • Involved in global project initiatives if any.
  • Be given professional analytical and management support work assignments.
  • Assistance in preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Develop and utilise spreadsheet and global accounting system.
  • Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company.

Qualifications

Please note that this is a full-time 6 month internship opportunity from January - June 2026 for undergraduate students. 

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Have knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis.
  • Capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation.
