OVERVIEW
The Event Producer will support the Events and Experiences Team in devising and executing CNBC Events & Experiences business. In this role, you will be responsible for developing event strategy for invitation-only C-suite events, mapping out event experience and audience journey for both editorial and commercial events. You will work in collaboration with the CNBC Editorial and Commercial teams, including the News Desk, Creative Strategists, and Advertising Partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Event Planning & Execution
Lead and manage all aspects of CNBC International events throughout APAC and EMEA, encompassing creative ideation, project management, and event execution, as well as post-event evaluation.
Translate sales and client requirements into clear, executable production plans, ensuring scope clarity, feasibility, and realistic delivery commitments.
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines and milestones, following a phased approach from initiation to completion. Ensure alignment across core and supporting departments for successful conference delivery.
Conduct post-event analyses to measure campaign effectiveness and utilize findings to shape future strategies.
Project & Production Management
Work closely with the Advertising Partnership team to devise and implement strategies that facilitate client retention and uphold the highest standards of client service.
Foster and nurture robust relationships with stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and external partners. Ensure transparent and timely communication regarding project progress, updates, and challenges.
Own end-to-end project planning, including timelines, resource coordination, and feasibility assessment.
Lead pre-production planning, including rehearsals, technical walk-throughs, and cross-team alignment.
Oversee full financial stewardship of events—managing budgets from planning to reconciliation, tracking spend vs. forecast, and driving cost efficiencies through strategic scoping, vendor selection, and production planning while ensuring quality, technical reliability, and production standards.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Serve as the main point of contact for clients, internal teams, and external partners.
Translate client objectives into clear production deliverables and creative solutions.
Manage expectations, provide status updates, and ensure alignment at each project stage.
Vendor & Technical Coordination
Source, negotiate, and manage vendors such as AV teams, staging, lighting, décor, and logistics providers.
Oversee technical rehearsals, show calls, and on site/online production operations. - Ensure all technical requirements (audio, video, streaming, lighting, stage management) are met.
Lead procurement, supplier selection, and negotiation across AV, staging, logistics, livestreaming, décor, and related production vendors while managing vendor performance.
Others
Innovate and create new event opportunities and formats to be presented to clients, thereby enhancing our portfolio of industry-leading event solutions.
Lead and manage event interns, providing mentorship and guidance in their professional development.

Up to date with the latest industry trends and developments in both digital and video

DESIRED ATTRIBUTES
While not essential for this role, candidates with experience or proficiency in the following attributes tend to excel in this position.
Three (3) or more years of experience in an events production role or similar capacities.
Knowledge and background of the media industry or media qualification.
