We are seeking for an accomplished and visionary Director of Sales & Marketing to lead the resort’s commercial strategy and drive sustainable revenue growth. This role is a key member of the Executive Committee, responsible for shaping and executing integrated sales, marketing, branding, and revenue initiatives across all market segments.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and brand positioning objectives.
  • Provide strategic leadership to Sales, Events, Marketing, Communications, and Revenue teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Drive business growth across Leisure, Corporate, MICE, Wholesale, Digital, and Emerging Markets.
  • Strengthen global and regional partnerships, including key accounts, travel trade partners, airlines, and tourism bodies.
  • Lead brand positioning, marketing campaigns, digital strategy, PR, and social media in alignment with Shangri-La brand standards.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive intelligence, and performance data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with Operations and Finance to ensure commercial strategies are operationally viable and financially sound.
  • Represent the resort at key industry events, sales missions, and stakeholder engagements.

 

Key Requirement

 

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing leadership within luxury hotels or resorts, preferably with international brands.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading multi-disciplinary commercial teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in resort destinations and international markets will be an advantage.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and culturally diverse environment.
