We're looking for an experienced Director of Business Development - Leisure required for our Commercial Sales Division.

 

Job summary

 

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow leisure segment revenue across key international and domestic markets
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand brand presence
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, and online travel partners
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to drive informed commercial decisions
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure seamless strategy execution
  • Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and sales missions

 

Job Requirement

 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality sales, business development, or commercial leadership, with strong exposure to the leisure segment
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion
  • Strong network within the leisure travel trade (international markets preferred)
  • Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities
  • Fluent written and spoken English; additional language i.e., any local / international language is a definite advantage.
  • Experience with luxury or resort properties is an advantage
