Who We Are:

Main Responsibilities:       

·  Secure commercial/ endorsement deals and appearances for WME/ IMG clients.

·  Retention of existing golf clients and recruitment of elite new talent.

·  Provide comprehensive administrative and sales activities support to the Golf Clients Japan team.

 

 

Specific Responsibilities:

   

1. Commercial & Business Development

-       Maximise commercial and appearance opportunities for WME/IMG clients

-       Identify target brands and proactively generate new business opportunities

-       Establish and develop corporate partnership relationships through direct engagement

-       Search for and approach potential sales leads to expand the client portfolio

-       Create and deliver sponsorship presentations using existing templates

-       Lead contractual negotiations with sponsors through to execution

-       Manage renewals of existing sponsorships across events and clients

-       Maximise revenue opportunities to achieve or exceed targets

-       Work closely with sponsorship account managers to ensure successful delivery and renewal

-       Maintain strong relationships with key golf organizations (JGTO, JLPGA, JGA)

-       Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor activity, and sponsorship landscape

 

2. Client Management

-       Build and maintain strong relationships with existing golf clients and their teams

-       Identify and recruit elite talent in collaboration with the global golf client team

-       Support and work closely with Senior Management (clients) and Player Agents

-       Communicate with global golf entities to gather and share relevant information

-       Manage client-related communications, including seasonal greetings and correspondence

-       Arrange congratulatory messages, floral gifts, and related items

 

3. Operations & Administrative Support

-       Provide administrative and operational support to the Golf Clients Japan team

-       Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline and deal tracking in the CRM system

-       Provide weekly and monthly forecasting reports to Kotaro Takahashi

-       Collaborate with internal stakeholders across marketing, events, operations, sales, and account management

-       Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for team members, clients, and sponsors

-       Arrange visa applications and travel documentation

-       Process invoices and payment requests

-       Manage incoming calls, mail, and courier deliveries

-       Maintain filing systems and ensure proper documentation management

-       Prepare sales materials and presentations for golf clients

-       Create translation documents for presentations, contracts, and other materials

 

You may also be required to carry out any other duties which are within the scope and purpose of the role. Your manager may set key performance indicators from time to time.
