Accountant (6 month Contract)

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Accountant (6-Month Contract) who can bring clarity, structure, and momentum to our finance operations. In this role, you’ll support our US finance function, working closely with the Group Finance team based at our Singapore HQ.

If you’re confident in Netsuite, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and experienced with month-end closings, you’ll hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Accurate Financial Records – Take ownership of monthly closings and ensure all entries and reconciliations are timely and accurate.
• Balance Sheet Mastery – Own BS schedules: prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliations, deferred revenue, and fixed assets.
• Transaction Support – Process AP payments, issue AR invoices, and track AR ageing.
• Journal Entries & Recons – Prepare journals and ensure reconciliations are clean, timely, and audit-ready.
• US Sales Tax Data – Extract and prepare sales tax info for US filings (guidance will be provided).
• Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with our US counterparts and attend 1–2 calls/week (some may be evening SG time).
• Audit & Compliance Support – Assist in coordinating with auditors and tax advisors as needed.

What You’ll Need

• A diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Netsuite (or similar ERP).
• Meticulous, reliable, and quick to pick up context.
• Available to work onsite Mon–Fri, 9am–6pm
